It was an exciting weekend – and another highlight in our 100th anniversary year!

Despite heavy rain, up to enthusiastic 5,000 music fans didn’t miss the chance to party at the sold-out Lippe Open Air concert in Lemgo. As official sponsor of the great main act Nico Santos, we were there with many guests and employees.

Our motivation: We wanted to celebrate our anniversary not only with our business partners and employees, but also the region OWL as well as the town of Lemgo and its people, to whom we owe a lot. At the same time we support a great charitable initiative because the proceeds of the festival will be donated to charity.

Together with the Old Hanseatic City of Lemgo, we have initiated the project “Forest Partner Lemgo 2023”, to which the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated after deduction of all costs. The funds will be used to sustainably reforest the woodlands surrounding Lemgo; with climate-stable and site-appropriate tree species that are adapted to the conditions of the local region. In this way, we want to preserve the city forest as a local recreation area for future generations. Another contribution in the spirit of our anniversary motto “Preparation for Tomorrow”.

This is our way of expressing our commitment to the region in our anniversary year,” says Klaus Rübesamen, Managing Director at Brasseler. “Our special thanks go to the Lippe Open Air team, whose voluntary work made it possible for the event to generate a surplus that benefits an important sustainable cause.”
